A few photos from the annual Shinkyu Shotokan Karate Tournament in South San Francisco, CA. Some photos from the 2003 Shinkyu tournament are on-line. Also a few small video clips from the 2004 tournament are on-line.

The participants pictured are from one of JKA of Silicon Valley, Wado Ki Kai, IRF Shorinjiryu, JKA of Stanford University, West Valley College, and Pine Waves Karate Academy. The head judge was Roberto Alvelais of Pacific Martial Arts.
